Richard Morales has a B.A. in Humanities from San Francisco State University, an M.A. in American Studies from California State University (Fullerton), and was a PhD student in American Studies at Saint Louis University. A California native,聽Richard has聽decades of experience in the hospitality industry. He has also previously worked as聽a substitute high school teacher in the Los Angeles area.聽
After leaving academia, Richard worked as a seasonal maintenance specialist at over a dozen national parks and lodges across the United States. His background and strengths include plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, and waste disposal.聽
When he is not working, you can find Richard playing guitar in the Northwest Faculty Jam Band, attending a music festival, or exploring Seattle neighborhoods.
